Empathy
Hillary has just assured us that she is running on behalf of "everyone who was ever been counted out". Meanwhile John McCain encouraged the people of Youngstown Ohio, saying that he had come from behind to win the Republican nomination and they too could expect future prosperity, if they tried hard.
It seems to Wonks Anonymous that these two are looking out at the world and seeing their own personal dramas. Since when does the situation of a millionaire trying to capture the most powerful office on earth have a whole lot to do with the bread and butter issues of people who are losing their children in a useless war and losing their jobs and houses to a dysfunctional economy?
