The Gods Will Not Be Mocked

In 1930, just after the crash of 1929, a dim icy body was discovered on the outskirts of the solar system. It was named to honor Pluto, the Roman god of wealth, who had been without a planet since the beginning of civilization. The world begin to honor Pluto and, in due time, the economy recovered and decades of undreamed of prosperity ensued.

In 2006 astronomers decided that Pluto was not important enough to be a planet. Two years later . .
