Texas Governor Rick Perry has called for his state to secede from the US, which in his opinion is careening toward socialism.

Wonks Anonymous was in a righteous huff about this until his beloved spouse pointed out that he himself had called for the San Francisco Bay Area to secede from the Union in any number of occasions during his misspent youth.

Wonks Anonymous would recommend that the folks here on the left coast send Governor Perry a bit of whatever good weed they might have on hand. It might help him adjust to defeat.
