Some time ago Wonks Anonymous predicted that the divine Ms. Palin would quickly find her natural level as a talk radio personality. He is frankly a bit surprised that she has set the process in motion already by resigning as governor of Alaska.
Are the finances of Alaska in bad shape? Is there some scandal waiting in the wings?
Wonks Anonymous thinks that it is more likely that Sarah really fell in love with the world of money and fashion that she was introduced to as a Vice Presidential candidate. She can't afford to live like that as governor of Alaska so she needs a new job.

Sarah Palin as radio talk show host is the best idea I've heard in a long time. She'd be perfect for the job, too. She's got the right personality--confrontational, condescending, and crazy. I sooo hope this happens. I can only imagine the sort of gems that would come out of this woman broadcasting her innermost thoughts on a regular basis.
