Over the past nine months Wonks Anonymous has noticed a distinct drop in the number of stories from our various war zones about US drone/bomber/missile attacks on targets that turn out to be civilian.

Given that the press has no particular love for Obama and does not even see this form of collateral damage as a bad thing, Wonks Anonymous has a faint hope that his nation is weaning itself off of the bomb 'em and let God sort it out philosophy of war.

It would be a major reversal from rules of engagement that were promulgated by both Republicans and Democrats. Remember the bombing of Belgrade?
