In the bad old days in the Soviet Union everyone worked very hard at the end of the year so that they could meet plan targets and get their bonuses. It was called storming. The original phrase had something to do with storming the heights of production if Wonks Anonymous memory is correct.

That would never happen in an advanced Capitalist economy.
