Why Newspapers Are In Trouble

Today's SF Comical, dead tree edition, reports that rainfall in Oakland yesterday was 0.00 inches. Which is making many of us wonder just what that stuff falling from the sky and running down the streets really is.

Now this may seem trivial to many of you except that here in California, where we live in a state of constant drought, rainfall is a rather interesting topic. One would think that they would get local weather right but maybe that is not covered by the wire services.

They usually do give an excellent picture of the weather in the Pacific Northwest.

Meanwhile political prognosticator Joe Garolfi has a long piece of analysis on the new political force, which would be the Tea Party movement. Can these plucky freedom fighters raise money? Will they get publicity? Will free markets and greed be restored to their rightful dominance over us all.

Will they defeat Nancy Pelosi?

The SF Comical, news from everywhere but the Bay Area. Because you guys in the Bay Area are just to weird to talk about.
