Debra J. Saunders departs from her usual nihilism in today's SF Comical to give us an intelligent discussion of how we should pay for health care reform. She has some ideas that might be worth considering which she, no doubt, hopes that the Democrats in the House and Senate will implement.

Not that any of these ideas will cause her or any Republican to break ranks with the tea party folks and actually publicly support the reform.

This just in, if you want to influence a decision you actually have to participate in the decision and take some responsibility for it. Yelling insults and advice from the bleachers does not count.
